Vedanta Says Sterlite Site Acid Leak Severe, Wants Power Reconnected

Vedanta Ltd said on Wednesday a sulphuric acid leak from a tank at its copper smelter in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu was severe and inaction could lead to serious environmental consequences.
